Consecration of
School Mentors
On
September 12 we will recognize and celebrate the ministry of these
persons who mentor children. Amachi mentors relate to children
with incarcerated parents. School mentors typically relate one
hour a week with children in their schools to assist with school
work and be adult friends. For more information about mentoring,

Fabulous Find Sale
The Children’s Department will be hosting a Fabulous Find Sale on
September 18 from 8:00-1:00, so please be gathering up your goods to
sell and be looking for more details to come.
Fall Bible Study
On Tuesdays 9:30-10:30 a.m. in the
Library, Pastor Pat is leading a bible study on Prophecy and The
End of Times. Everyone is welcome to join!

For those of you that had your photos
taken for the pictorial, you will need to choose the picture you
want for the directory by September 13th. If you have any
questions please contact Fred Cannon Photography at 687-5531 or
the church office 523-0603. If you do not choose your photo by
this date, we will choose it for you.
Attention United Methodist Women– All Circles
Please participate for the UMW Mission
project with the Fabulous Find Sale on Saturday September 18. We
need all your goods to sell for money to be used for the UMW
Missions. Please contact your circle leader to get your items to
sell. We will have a
empty box in the Workroom for your

Boomsday
at Church Street UMC
For those wishing to attend this year’s Boomsday event; Church Street
UMC opens their parking lot for parking and more. At $10/adult and
$5/child, you can get all the bar-b-que you can eat; plus-there will
be inflatable's, clowns and a magician for the children.
Labor Day Holiday
Just a reminder that the Church Office,
Parent’s Day Out and The After School Daycare Program will be
closed Monday, September 6th.
Calling all
Women Singers
We will be having an Women's Choir Sunday September 5th during
the worship service. We are open to all ladies! If you are
willing to help us sing, please come to the front of the sanctuary
after the service today to practice. We will also meet at
10:10 (before worship next Sunday) to practice in the choir room.

Workout Classes begin
We now have Zumba (physical fitness
Latin dance) classes here at the church on Thursdays from
5:30-6:30p.m. in Fellowship Hall. They will run through November
(except for Thanksgiving). For more information please contact
